When Stevens Bikes, Germany's second largest bike manufacturer introduced the 2011 Ventoux road frame, it was obvious that they had done their homework. They have designed the Ventoux based on surveys and tests conducted in Europe with feedback from cycling numerous enthusiasts and racers. Weighing 896g, the Ventoux is comprised from UD HMF monocoque matrix super light carbon. The fork is made of SL UD 1 1/8″-1 1/2″ carbon. The frame allows for electronic Dura Ace internal routing.The use of the BB86 bottom bracket design and tapered OS asymmetric seat tube makes the Ventoux not only comfortable, but also giving it noticable torsional stiffness.
