overviewThe Racing 3 2-Way Fit™ wheels have a more marked competitive nature, as demonstrated by the 65 grams of difference that separate them from the Racing 3 model. Starting from the same design, Fulcrum® found a way to make them even more high performance by improving even the tiniest detail. As the name clearly denotes, the rim has the 2-Way Fit™ profile that makes it possible to use both tubeless and standard clincher tires on the same wheel, thereby obtaining the best from both technologiesThe rim thicknesses have been reduced externally, with the characteristic milling for lightening developed by Fulcrum®, and internally, reducing to the maximum the thickness of the aluminum extrusion so that it is as light as possible but equally strong. Here, too, Fulcrum Dynamic Balancer™ keeps the Racing 3 2-Way Fit™ wheels perfectly stable even at high speed. Incredible efforts were also made in designing the spokes to reduce every single gram without compromising performance and strength. In this case, Fulcrum® maintained the same spoke pattern (16 radial for the front and 21 with 2:1 ratio for the rear), but intervened on the thicknesses: 2.2/2/1.5/2 for the front spokes and left side rear and 2/1.8/2 on the cassette side. Also regarding the spokes, Fulcrum® has introduced the new spoke anti-rotation system that keeps them perfectly in position and facilitates servicing operations. The oversize hubs have an aluminum body and axle and adjustable high precision bearings for the maximum performance. Racing 3 2-Way Fit™ wheels are compatible with the Campagnolo®, Shimano Inc. and Sram Co. drive trains and are supplied with the new Fulcrum® quick releases. specs
