The integrated seatpost was intended to shave weight off the traditional seatpost design. However, this idea did not truly come to fruition until Woodman came with the IT head series.

Fully CNC-machined, the IT head starts with a 1.2kg chunk of aluminum billet and finishes as an 85 gram product. With its superb design, the IT head is 40% lighter than most other designs on the market, and truly makes the integrated seatpost lightweight.
